
"J.R." is a registered architect who came to work for Barge Cauthen & Associates, Inc. in 1996. He is a Vice President and the manager of BC&A's Knoxville office. J.R. has designed and renovated various building types including public housing, military housing, barracks, fire halls, and restaurants throughout the Southeast, Antigua Island, Ascension Island, and Hawaiian Islands, as well as Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. He graduated from the University of Tennessee School of Architecture in 1984 with a 5-year Professional Degree. He is a registered architect in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia. He became a Certified LEED Green Associate in 2011.
